Accredited Residential Manager (ARM)

Money Manager | Monday, September 1st, 2008
This designation is offered by the Institute of Real Estate Management.  The candidate must complete education requirements and pass a written examination.  To fulfill the education requirement, the candidate can complete the ARM education courses.  As an alternative, holding a degree in real estate or property management will fulfill the education requirement.  In addition, if the candidate already has the Certified Apartment Manager, Certified Residential Manager, or Registered Apartment Manager designations, this will fulfill the education requirement.  Candidates must also agree to the code of ethics, have at least one year work experience, submit three letters of recommendation, and be recommended for the ARM designation by the local chapter of the IREM.
