This designation is offered by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. The candidate must:
- have five years rural appraisal experience
- have a four-year college degree or the equivalent
- submit for approval one rural appraisal report
- complete the required coursework
- be a member of the ASFMRA, and
- pass the written examination.
