This designation is offered by the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. The candidate must already be one of the following:
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Enrolled Actuary (EA)
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
- Member of he American Society of Pension Actuaries (MSPA), or
- have one of the approved international credentials.
To maintain the ACA designation, the associate must complete continuing education each year.
