Certified Financial Services Security Professional (CFSSP)

This designation is offered by the Institute of Certified Bankers.  The candidate must provide proof of a combination of education and experience, which varies depending on the educational level obtained.  If the candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, one year of experience is required.  For an associate’s degree, two years work experience is required, and for a high school diploma, three years experience is required.  A letter of reference must be provided, and the candidate must agree to abide by the code of ethics.  Finally, the candidate must pass a written examination and a background check.
